Assistant Manager, Operations

Summary The Assistant Manager, Operations supports the Boutique Operations Manager in overseeing all operational functions to ensure a seamless client experience. This role is the subject‑matter expert on standard operating procedures, systems, and tools and leads operational projects to improve efficiency. The position requires in‑store presence to coach teams, manage workflows, and uphold boutique standards. Responsibilities Own day-to-day operational functions including inventory control, shipping and receiving, alterations, facilities management, and security. Manage resource planning, staffing, compliance, and expense management to support boutique performance. Collaborate with the Home Office Retail Operations team to develop and execute initiatives that increase operational efficiency. Lead and coach operationally aligned staff, providing guidance and fostering a collaborative work environment. Serve as the boutique expert on SOPs, systems, and tools, acting as a resource for the broader team. Support budgeting and forecasting activities and lead projects to improve operational processes. Requirements Minimum 3 years of related experience in retail operations or boutique management. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Strong organizational, communication, and attention-to-detail skills with ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment. Ability to lift 15 lbs and maintain a flexible schedule including late nights, weekends, and some holidays. Proven experience coaching teams and upholding visual and operational standards in a retail environment.
