Administrative Coordinator

Cardinal Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Coordinator to support our Accounting and Human Resources departments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of administrative, payroll, and employee support functions while ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and excellent customer service.

Shift: 8am-5pm Monday-Friday

Pay: $25 an hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative support for the Accounting and Human Resources departments.
• Process payroll and maintain payroll records using Paychex.
• Assist with employee onboarding, new hire paperwork, and orientation.
• Administer COBRA benefits, including processing payments and maintaining accurate records.
• Coordinate employee clinic appointments and maintain related documentation.
• Prepare and distribute company newsletters and internal communications.
• Perform general clerical duties, including filing, data entry, scanning, and document management.
• Answer phones, respond to emails, and provide professional communication with employees, vendors, and customers.
• Maintain confidential employee and company records in compliance with company policies.
• Assist with special projects and other administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Experience in Accounting, Human Resources, or administrative support preferred.
• Working knowledge of Paychex payroll software is required.
• Experience with employee onboarding and COBRA administration.
• Strong clerical and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Payroll processing experience.
• Knowledge of HR procedures and employee benefits administration.
• Experience creating newsletters or company communications.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
