Role Overview
Annotate audio and video data to help train next-generation AI systems on a dynamic customer project. This contractor role focuses on producing high-quality, real-world labels and corrections that directly influence model learning and evaluation. Domain expertise matters more than prior AI experience, and strong attention to detail and English proficiency are required.
Key Responsibilities- Annotate and label audio and video samples precisely, following project-specific guidelines.
- Review and validate existing annotations for consistency and quality across datasets.
- Identify, flag, and correct ambiguous or incorrect data samples.
- Document annotation decisions and maintain clear records for auditability and transparency.
- Collaborate with project leads and teammates through written and verbal communication to resolve questions and align on best practices.
- Meet defined deliverables and deadlines while maintaining high annotation accuracy.
- Provide feedback and suggestions to improve annotation workflows and guidelines.
- Required skills: data annotation and strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in written and verbal English.
- No prior AI experience required, domain knowledge is valued.
- Preferred: direct experience annotating audio and video media.
- Preferred: experience working with varied data types and adapting to evolving guidelines.
- Preferred: familiarity with data labeling tools or platforms, and ability to document and explain annotation rationale.
- Preferred: experience giving constructive feedback to improve annotation processes.
