Spanish Language Data Annotator

Role Overview

Support AI training and evaluation work by ensuring Spanish-language data is accurate, consistent, and culturally relevant. This remote, part-time opportunity is suited to detail-oriented language professionals who can provide expert linguistic judgment across annotation workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Annotate and label Spanish-language data with precision and consistency.
• Review, edit, and validate annotated datasets against quality standards.
• Work with cross-functional teams to clarify requirements and provide linguistic insight.
• Identify Spanish-language nuances and potential challenges to improve annotation processes.
• Maintain current documentation for annotation guidelines and best practices.
• Clearly communicate findings and recommendations in writing and conversation.
• Participate in remote meetings and contribute to language-related discussions.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native Spanish fluency, including strong grammar, vocabulary, and idiomatic usage.
• Professional-level English communication skills.
• Experience in data annotation or linguistic quality assurance.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Strong written and verbal communication, with a proactive, collaborative approach.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
• Familiarity with digital annotation and collaboration tools.
• Preferred: experience with AI, NLP, or data-driven language projects; a background in linguistics, translation, or a related field; and adaptability in fast-paced environments.

Work Terms

• Part-time, remote engagement.

Compensation

• $90 - $130 per hour.
