Job Type: Part-Time & Full-Time Available


Pay: $16.25-19.00 Based on experience, plus mileage


Focus Behavioral Health is looking for compassionate, reliable, and dedicated individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) . In this role, you will provide hands-on support to individuals with Autism and Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, assisting them in developing essential life skills, gaining independence, and becoming active members of their communities.

What You'll Do

• Assist individuals in developing daily living skills, including household tasks, meal preparation, personal independence, and community participation.
• Provide direct care and support with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) while maintaining each individual's health and safety.
• Encourage and assist individuals in working toward personal goals and reaching their fullest potential.
• Establish supportive, professional relationships while promoting dignity, respect, independence, and self-determination.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Valid driver's license and dependable transportation required.
• Must successfully complete required criminal background clearances.
• Previous experience in human services or caregiving is a plus, but not necessary.
• Must demonstrate compassion, reliability, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Physical Requirements

• Must be capable of assisting individuals with standing, walking, and transferring, including lifting or providing physical guidance when needed.
• Must be able to lift 75 pounds or more when necessary.
