Finance Manager - Tampa, FL

As Finance Manager – US, based in our Tampa office, you’ll own the day-to-day financial management of our U.S. business and its project portfolio. Reporting to the Finance Director, you’ll work with the Regional Finance Director, CFO, and Group Finance team to meet Group reporting requirements.

You’ll lead a reliable month-end and year-end close, accurate project and entity reporting, disciplined billing and collections, and timely forecasts. Partnering with U.S. business leaders and project managers, you’ll explain performance, manage risk, and strengthen financial controls and processes in Microsoft Dynamics 365.

Global collaboration

You’ll work with Group Finance, the CFO, and regional colleagues, providing U.S. inputs to Group, lender, and Board reporting.

You’ll have scope to improve processes, controls, and reporting in D365 as our U.S. business scales.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
• At least 5 years of accounting and finance experience, including ownership of the close and management reporting for a U.S. business.
• Sound knowledge of U.S. GAAP, project revenue recognition, financial controls, reconciliations, budgeting, and cash management.
• Experience with billing, receivables, payables, and collections.
• Experience preparing budgets, rolling forecasts, and cash forecasts.
• Experience in project-based or contract-driven operations preferred.
• Strong ERP and Excel skills; Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience preferred.
• Ability to explain financial results clearly to non-finance colleagues and manage competing deadlines.
• Experience guiding and reviewing the work of finance staff or external service providers.
• Ability to travel to Black & White Engineering offices in the U.S.
