Regional Head of HR - Tampa, FL

As Regional Head of HR, based in our Tampa office, you’ll lead the people function across Black & White Engineering’s U.S. offices, reporting to the Global HR Director with a dotted line to our Regional Directors. You’ll turn our global HR strategy into local plans that support the rapid growth of our North American business.

This is a hands-on role spanning talent acquisition, employee relations, engagement, learning, and U.S. compliance. Working with HR colleagues worldwide as part of One Global Team, you’ll shape the structures, processes, and culture that support our people as we expand into new states.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business, or a related field.
• Graduate degree in HR or a related field and/or a recognized professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP, PHR/SPHR).
• At least 5 years of experience in an HR leadership role, including responsibility for U.S. operations.
• Strong background in employee relations and core HR processes, including onboarding, engagement, leave, and performance management.
• Working knowledge of U.S. federal and multi-state employment law (e.g., FLSA, FMLA, ADA, Title VII, ADEA) and experience supporting employees in multiple states.
• Experience overseeing HR compliance, including employment policies, required notices, Form I-9/E-Verify, and leave administration.
• Proven experience partnering with a business to develop and implement change.
• Experience working in a matrix structure, with strong influencing and relationship-building skills.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills and experience managing an HRIS (e.g., BambooHR, Workday).
• Formal coaching or mentoring training and M&A/integration experience are advantageous.
• Ability to travel within the U.S. and internationally as business needs require.
• Authorization to work in the U.S.; this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
