Job Title: Junior IT Recruiter (Entry‑Level)
Location: Tampa, FL (Hybrid - 4 days onsite / 1 day remote)
Experience Level: Entry‑Level / New Graduate Friendly
Job Summary We are seeking a Junior IT Recruiter who is early in their career or a recent college graduate looking to build a foundation in technical recruiting. This role is ideal for someone who is motivated, organized, and interested in learning how to recruit for IT and technology roles in a fast‑paced environment.
The Junior IT Recruiter will support the full recruiting lifecycle by sourcing candidates, coordinating interviews, screening resumes, and working closely with senior recruiters and hiring managers. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in IT recruiting while learning industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities Source and identify candidates for entry‑level to mid‑level IT roles using job boards, LinkedIn, campus outreach, and referrals
Review resumes and conduct initial phone screens to assess candidate fit
Coordinate interviews between candidates, recruiters, and hiring managers
Maintain accurate candidate information in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
Communicate professionally with candidates throughout the recruitment process
Assist with job postings, candidate pipelines, and recruitment reports
Support senior recruiters with scheduling, offer coordination, and onboarding steps
Learn IT roles, terminology, and market trends through ongoing training
Provide a positive candidate experience from initial contact through placement
Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (or currently completing) in:
Human Resources
Business
Communications
Information Systems
Or a related field
Strong interest in recruiting, HR, or talent acquisition
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable working onsite 4 days per week in Tampa, FL
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to multitask and work in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment
Professional attitude and eagerness to learn
