Emergency Medicine Physician Opportunity

Metropolitan Methodist Hospital is recruiting skilled and dedicated emergency medicine physicians to join our collegial team in San Antonio, Texas. Qualified candidates:

• Must be board certified/board eligible in emergency medicine (MD or DO) and emergency medicine residency trained
• Possess strong communication skills
• Have expertise in the evaluation and management of acute medical emergencies
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with sound judgment and decision-making skills

Incentive/Position Details:

• 66,000 annual volume
• 40 bed ED
• 40 hours of daily physician coverage
• 60 hours of daily Advanced Practice Provider coverage (44 hours on weekends)
• Level IV Trauma Center
• Academic appointment available: Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine with the University of Texas San Antonio
• 1099 position - up to 120 hours available
• Meditech EMR
