Were adding an Emergency Medicine Physician to our Baptist Neighborhood Hospital team in San Antonio, Texas, with opportunities to work across multiple neighborhood hospital locations throughout the market.

Practice Highlights:

• Up to $150,000 sign-on bonus available
• W-2 and 1099 options available
• Physicians rotate shifts between multiple Baptist Neighborhood Hospital locations throughout San Antonio
• 12-hour shifts with 24 hours of Physician coverage daily
• Approximately 16,000 annual ED visits at Converse location
• Brand-new facility constructed in 2023
• Streamlined micro-hospital model with inpatient services and 24/7 emergency care
• EMR: Picis
• 10-bed emergency department
• 5% admission rate
• Strong operational support and efficient workflows across the system

What your practice will look like:

Youll work within a collaborative emergency medicine team across Baptist Neighborhood Hospital sites throughout the San Antonio market, helping deliver efficient, patient-centered care in modern neighborhood hospital settings. The practice model is designed around physician support, operational efficiency, and manageable workflows, allowing physicians to focus on high-quality emergency care while maintaining schedule flexibility and long-term sustainability.

Physicians rotate between Baptist Neighborhood Hospitals Zarzamora, Kelly, Westover, Hausman, Shavano, Thousand Oaks, Overlook, Schertz, and Converse

About the Facility:

San Antonios Baptist Neighborhood Hospitals are fully licensed micro-hospitals offering inpatient care and 24/7 emergency medicine services. These facilities are designed to provide streamlined access to emergency care, modern diagnostic capabilities, and efficient admissions processes while maintaining close connections to the larger Baptist Health System network.

• $100,000 equity ownership opportunity for full-time Physicians after 3 years

Requirements:

• BC/BP in Emergency Medicine, OR BC/BP in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with recent Emergency Medicine experience
• Current ATLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required for non-EM boarded physicians
