Senior Operations Manager – Contract Logistics Launch Division: Solutions Location: USA - VIRTUAL - US Colorado & Cincinnati, OH Metro / Salt Lake City, UT Metro / Dallas, TX Metro / Chicago, IL Metro Time Type: Full Time Travel: Frequent travel across the distribution network (50–75%) Position Summary Launch Operations role focusing on site‑startup, stabilization, and performance ramp of new and expanding facilities within North American Contract Logistics. Key Responsibilities Lead full site‑launch lifecycle, from pre‑launch planning through go‑live and stabilization. Develop and execute launch plans including site infrastructure, staffing, training, layout readiness, and SOP deployment. Coordinate cross‑functional teams to ensure launch readiness. Serve as primary point of contact for launch activities and escalations. Ensure SOPs are implemented and validated prior to go‑live. Drive consistency across sites through standardized processes and reporting. Validate system readiness across platforms (GXD, Blue Yonder, CargoWrite, etc.). Own site ramp performance post‑launch ensuring KPI achievement; monitor throughput, safety, inventory & quality, service SLAs, and financial performance. Conduct regular site‑performance reviews and drive corrective actions, working hands‑on where necessary. Partner effectively with local and central stakeholders; interface directly with customers during launch activities. Provide executive‑level updates throughout launch activities including project and task status, operational performance, and proactive risk identification. Proactively identify risks and develop mitigation strategies. Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards. Qualifications – Required 7–10+ years in operations, supply chain, or related field. Experience leading multi‑site or large‑scale operations. Proven experience launching new facilities. Strong knowledge of operational systems and tools. Experience managing KPIs and financial performance. Qualifications – Preferred Experience with large enterprise customers. Background in multi‑site operations. Lean / Six Sigma certification. Continuous improvement activities and results, focused on launch‑related defects and disruptions. Compensation: Expected base pay range is $102,560.00 – $128,200.00. Actual compensation will be determined based on job‑related factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
