NYC Plaintiff PI Team Lead - Step Into Leadership

LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a well-established NYC plaintiff personal injury firm with 40+ years in practice and a strong reputation in the space. They are adding a Team Lead attorney to oversee a high-volume litigation team in their Manhattan office. You will be stepping into a leadership role. You will be mentoring and leading a group of junior attorneys on ~200 active cases (mostly motor vehicle, med mal, and premises liability) with strong paralegal support. You may still be involved in litigation from time to time, but no first-chair trial experience is required. This is a chance to guide strategy and manage workflow. The culture is supportive and close‑knit, built on collaboration and consistent multi‑million dollar recoveries for clients. This is an in‑office role because the firm values face‑to‑face mentorship and teamwork. Compensation is $150K–$200K base (DOE) plus bonus (around 5% on settled cases + discretionary bonus) and 35% on originations, so the earning potential is strong. Importantly, this is a true leadership track within a stable, long‑standing firm. It’s ideal for a plaintiff's attorney who wants more responsibility, autonomy, and a voice in litigation strategy – without the pressure of litigating matters day to day or heavy business development. 4+ years of plaintiff personal injury with prior settlement experience as an attorney required.
