• Prepare surfaces for gelcoat application, ensuring they are clean and free of contaminants.
• Mix and apply gelcoat materials according to specifications and industry standards.
• Inspect finished products for quality assurance, identifying any defects or inconsistencies.
• Maintain and clean equipment and tools used in the gelcoat application process.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize processes and improve overall efficiency.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 5+ years of experience in boat finishing, automotive painting, gelcoat application, or related finishing environments
• Experience with epoxy-based paint systems preferred
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Basic computer skills required
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work throughout the shift
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs regularly
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing and paint environment
• Ability to wear required PPE and respirator equipment as needed
• May require occasional overtime or weekend work
