About the Role
The Company is in need of a VP of Tax to provide expert guidance on international tax matters for its global business. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and shaping tax-related terms in various agreements, supporting global reporting requirements, and assisting with the planning of foreign operations, intercompany arrangements, and cash movement processes. Additionally, the role involves contributing to tax provision work, foreign audits, and reorganization projects as required. Applicants for the VP of Tax position at the company should have the ability to support complex transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures, and be skilled in negotiating tax-related terms. The role requires a professional with a strong background in both domestic and international tax concepts, and the capacity to lead tax support for major initiatives. A minimum of 10 years' progressive tax experience, advanced education or credentials in taxation, accounting, or law, and a proven track record of managing tax matters across different entities and jurisdictions are essential. The ideal candidate will have the ability to communicate complex tax topics to non-tax teams and provide clear guidance for financial planning during deal evaluations.
