About the Role
The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President for its Opportunistic Credit / Private Equity Finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of fund accounting duties, including formal financial reporting, GAAP accounting, and fund operational responsibilities. This role requires a high level of flexibility, as it involves coordination with various teams, both internal and external, and a deep understanding of tax-related workstreams. The ideal candidate will have a background in accounting, economics, or finance, with a preference for a CPA or CPA candidate, and at least 6 years' experience, including a mix of public accounting and corporate/in-house experience. Key responsibilities for the Associate Vice President include day-to-day oversight of multiple funds, management of quarterly and annual reporting, and assistance with fund liquidity and investor inquiries. The role also involves operational coordination with the investment operations and performance teams, as well as compliance reporting. The candidate should be a self-directed individual with a can-do attitude, capable of managing multiple priorities and competing demands. Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills are essential, as is the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and to be flexible in terms of hours to accommodate team members across different time zones.
