About the Role

The Company is in need of a Vice President of Fund Accounting to lead a team of accounting managers and oversee the daily fund accounting activities for multiple investment vehicles. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the monthly close processes, including valuations, reconciliations, expense accruals, and fee calculations. Additionally, the role involves reviewing quarterly and annual financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards, as well as maintaining strong reporting controls and documentation for audit and compliance purposes. The VP will also be expected to partner with investment and client teams on performance calculations, consolidated reporting, and special requests. Applicants for the Vice President of Fund Accounting position at the company should have a minimum of 14 years' of accounting experience in the financial services sector, with a focus on investment management. A deep knowledge of fund accounting principles and the application of investment company guidance is essential, as is strong experience in account analysis, reconciliations, and complex portfolio structures.
