About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President to lead its fund accounting operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial reporting processes of diverse investment portfolios, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. This role involves leading a team in monthly closings, reconciliations, and performance analysis, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance reporting accuracy and drive strategic initiatives. The VP will also be tasked with providing leadership and mentorship to accounting teams, implementing and maintaining robust financial controls, and delivering insights into fund performance to stakeholders. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a minimum of 12 years' experience in fund accounting or financial management roles. A preference is given to those with 14 years' experience in private equity or investment fund accounting. The role requires expertise in U.S. GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance standards, proven leadership and team management capabilities, and a strong background in financial statement preparation and performance analysis. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives within fund accounting operations.
