About the Role

The Company is in search of a VP, Fund Accounting & Finance to take on a senior leadership role with a focus on the financial and operational management of a diverse portfolio of investment funds. The successful candidate will be responsible for fund accounting, financial reporting, investor servicing, and leading continuous improvement initiatives. This strategic and collaborative leader will also oversee relationships with external service providers, lead the development and implementation of scalable processes and technology, and manage a geographically distributed team. The role requires a professional with a strong background in investment management and accounting, who can effectively partner with internal teams and external providers to enhance processes, technology, reporting, and team capabilities. Applicants for the VP, Fund Accounting & Finance position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a CPA being preferred. A minimum of 10 years' of relevant experience, including public accounting and investment management, is required. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, fund accounting, financial reporting, and investment operations, as well as proven experience in managing teams and third-party service providers. Advanced skills in Excel and proficiency with business intelligence tools are necessary, and experience with financial systems or technology implementations is a plus. The role demands excellent communication, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
