Senior Accountant

Our client, a Real Estate Owner/Operator, is seeking a Senior Accountant to oversee their real estate properties. Responsibilities: Prepare and post journal entries and maintain the general ledger Reconcile bank statements and balance sheet accounts Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities Support the preparation of financial statements and reports Help maintain compliance with internal controls and company policies Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial data Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance 3–5 years of accounting experience (public or private) Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting practices Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; Yardi and QuickBooks are a plus Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills Seniority level Associate Employment type Full-time Job function Accounting/Auditing Industries Accounting, Investment Management, and Real Estate #J-18808-Ljbffr
