Interventional Radiology Tech | Radiology Tech (Interventional Radiology) | Kansas City, KS, US | Start June 14, 2026 | 13 weeks | $2,855–$3,027 per week | No guaranteed hours | Shift: 4x10-hour days | Travel assignment in a hospital setting

- Setting: hospital-based IR lab with high patient volume
- No guaranteed hours on a travel assignment

Responsibilities
- Perform and assist with interventional radiology procedures, including patient positioning, sterile technique, and catheter/guidewire management
- Operate imaging equipment in the IR suite (Siemens systems) and assist radiologists with imaging during procedures
- Scrub for and circulate during procedures; manage supplies, sterile fields, and room turnover
- Monitor patient status throughout procedures, administer contrast as directed, and document procedures accurately
- Adhere to radiation safety and ALARA principles; maintain equipment and quality control as needed
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other technologists to support a fast-paced, high-volume IR service

Requirements
- ARRT Radiography certification (needed in hand)
- Kansas State Board of Healing Arts license (can apply once offered)
- 2 years IR experience with scrub experience required; 3 years IR experience preferred
- Ability to float within IR areas as needed to support the department

- Orientation schedule: 8-hour no-bill orientation; regular orientation for duties and nursing integration (Mon–Tue orientation; nursing orientation Wed–Fri bi-weekly)
