Responsibilities
- Assist the radiologist during interventional radiology procedures and maintain sterile technique throughout.
- Prepare, setup, and operate imaging equipment used to guide procedures; scrub in as needed.
- Monitor patients during procedures, observe vital signs, and report any changes to the team.
- Maintain radiation safety practices, document procedures in the electronic medical record, and ensure proper room turnover.
- Collaborate with the IR team to coordinate patient flow, equipment needs, and post-procedure care.
- Adhere to unit protocols and participate in ongoing quality and safety initiatives.

Requirements
- ARRT Radiography license (in hand)
- Kansas State Board of Healing Arts license (can apply once offered)
- Minimum 2 years IR experience with scrub experience required
- Preferred: 3 years IR experience in a large-hospital setting; peripheral and neurovascular experience
- Ability to float to other IR units as needed
- No weekend requirements; On-call as needed
- Education: not specified beyond professional licensure and radiography credential
