Restoration for flooding, fires, storm damage and more.

Local to Albuquerque with some travel

Monday-Friday schedule (some OT and on-call weekends)

This job will be labor intensive and will require some outdoor work

Job Description:

The Restoration Technician responds to emergency calls for water, fire, smoke, mold, sewage, biohazard, or storm damage affecting residential and commercial properties. In this role, you help stabilize and restore damaged structures and contents, perform detailed cleanup and deodorizing, and prepare properties for the rebuild team. You document conditions and work performed to support accurate reporting and successful project completion.

Essential Skills:

• Experience with general labor in construction, restoration, or related fields.
• Ability to perform demolition work safely using hand tools and power tools.
• Proficiency in basic cleaning, sanitation, and deodorizing techniques.
• Comfort working with power tools and hand tools for carpentry and demolition tasks.
• Willingness to participate in on-call, rotating responsibilities for emergency response.
• Physical ability to perform labor-intensive tasks such as lifting, carrying, and extended periods of standing or bending.
• Experience with remediation, sanitation, and environmental services is an advantage.
• Familiarity with janitorial cleaning, sweeping, and property cleanup tasks.
• Ability to work in a variety of settings, including homes, businesses, universities, hospitals, and schools.
• Openness to training and obtaining additional industry certifications.
• Ability to handle chemical cleaning agents safely and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Respond promptly to emergency calls involving water, fire, smoke, mold, sewage, biohazard, or storm damage in residential and commercial properties.
• Perform demolition work as needed to remove damaged building materials safely and efficiently.
• Carry out thorough cleaning, sanitizing, and deodorizing of affected areas to restore safe and habitable conditions.
• Use hand tools and power tools to support demolition, mitigation, and restoration tasks.
• Assist with environmental cleanup and remediation activities, including handling chemical cleaning agents according to safety guidelines.
• Support property restoration efforts by stabilizing damaged areas and preparing sites for the rebuild team.
• Perform general labor tasks such as sweeping, debris removal, and janitorial-style cleaning related to restoration projects.
• Document site conditions, work performed, and materials used to ensure accurate records and support project reporting.
• Follow established mitigation procedures to reduce further property damage after an incident.
• Work collaboratively with team members to complete restoration projects on time and to quality standards.

This is a Permanent position based out of Albuquerque, NM.

The pay range for this position is $37440.00 - $56160.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
