Registration Scheduler Details:
- Temporary position
- $18.00 / hour
- Full Time work available
- First Shift ( Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm )
JOB DUTIES:Key ResponsibilitiesSchedule, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments according to provider availability and department guidelinesCollect and verify patient demographic, insurance, and referral informationPerform pre-registration and insurance verification to ensure accuracy and eligibilityCommunicate appointment details, preparation instructions, and policies to patientsMaintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) systemResolve scheduling conflicts and coordinate with clinical staff as neededEnsure compliance with HIPAA and patient confidentiality standardsProvide courteous, professional customer service in person and over the phoneDRESS CODE:Scrubs, Business Casual
Registration Scheduler Qualifications:
1-2 years experience as a medical receptionist and scheduler , ability to pass background and drug screening, and GED or High school diploma transcripts are required
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
