Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Exciting contract opportunities are available for dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) and Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPAs) for the 2026–2027 school year. Students at multiple Houston-area schools will benefit from your expertise, with openings at elementary, middle, and high school levels across several regions. This is a full-time, on-site assignment spanning from July 30, 2026, to May 28, 2027.

Ideal candidates bring school-based experience and are ready to contribute in diverse, educational settings. Your commitment will help students achieve vital communication outcomes over the academic year.

What We’re Looking For:

• Active Texas SLP or SLPA license (required at submission, as a screenshot)
• SLPAs must already hold licensure; supervision hours are not offered as part of this assignment
• Experience working in school-based settings
• On-site availability only; no remote or hybrid options
• Full-time commitment (37.5 hours per week)
• Not accepting SLP Clinical Fellows (SLP-CFs)

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy to students
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student communication goals
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team-based student support plans

• You will select from available school locations based on your preference and licensed role
• Candidates must purchase a laptop for the role (reimbursed upon hire)
• Reliable transportation is necessary to reach your assigned school(s)
• Must complete required fingerprinting within three days of signing the contract
