This hospital maintains an organized operating room program with established perioperative workflows designed to support quality anesthesia care delivery across multiple surgical specialties. The facility operates under a medically directed care team model with MDs supervising CRNAs at a 1:4 ratio, supporting a broad range of surgical services including general surgery, neurological, orthopedic, obstetric, urology, gynecology, ophthalmology, and endoscopic procedures. Ongoing CRNA coverage is sought to address current staffing needs within the Anesthesia Department.

Newport News, Virginia is only a short drive to Virginia Beach and the Atlantic Ocean. From this central Coastal Virginia location, you can experience ships, history, and the great outdoors.

Clinicians in this role will provide anesthesia services under a physician supervision model during day shifts within an operating room setting, with shift options of 8, 10, 12, and 24 hours beginning at 7:00 AM. The surgical case mix includes general, neurological, orthopedic, obstetric, urology, gynecology, ophthalmology, and endoscopy procedures, serving patients across all age groups. The staffing model consists of MDs supervising CRNAs at a 1:4 ratio, with call coverage required as part of this assignment.
