Role: Inpatient HIM OpTime Epic Application Engineer Specialist

Location: Remote

Duration: 10+ months

Responsibilities:

• Strong understanding of Inpatient workflows, clinical operations, and IT strategy
• Experience contributing to EHR implementation plans (scope and timelines)
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with professionalism
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with diverse groups of clients, team members, managers, and vendors.
• Epic resources will be responsible for implementing, building, maintaining and optimizing Epic integration systems.
• They have knowledge of the Epic EMR software, operations and workflow, and work closely with the project team's clinical leaders to translate business needs into EMR functionality.
• Resources are expected to have Epic knowledge and should have prior experience in working with various interfaces and related integrations
• Resource is expected to be able to work with clinics to identify gaps, provides mutually agreeable solutions to close workflow gaps.
• Involves design, building, testing, and implementation of Epic integration application systems.
• Works with clinicians to create or adapt written protocols.
• Resources should be able to troubleshoot the issues and provide solutions to the prevailing issues.
