The lists below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.Minimum QualificationsEducation: High School/GED preferred, but not requiredExperience: 1-3 Years Minimum in Commercial RoofingDriver's License: RequiredSkills and QualificationsSuccessful candidates demonstrate:A strong commitment to safety.Attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.Strong teamwork and communication skills.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.Attention to detail and the ability to identify and resolve problems.Willingness to learn new roofing systems, techniques, and equipment.Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently when needed.Flexibility to adapt to changing jobsite conditions and priorities.Install, repair, and replace commercial roofing systems, including TPO, EPDM, PVC, modified bitumen, metal, and other low-slope roofing materials.Measure, cut, and install roofing materials according to project specifications and manufacturer guidelines.Install insulation, vapor barriers, flashing, sealants, and waterproofing systems.Diagnose roof damage and perform repairs using appropriate materials and techniques.Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and roofing equipment.Load, unload, and transport roofing materials and equipment on the jobsite.Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas throughout each project.Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met.Follow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and PPE requirements.Work collaboratively with crew members to complete projects on schedule.Assist with training and mentoring newer team members as experience allows.Perform other duties as assigned.Physical DemandsRequires the ability to lift and carry items weighing 50 pounds.Requires the ability to stand, walk, and balance for long periods of time.Requires use of abdominal and lower back muscles to support part of the body repeatedly or continuously over time without giving out or fatiguing.Requires seeing details at close range.Requires repetitive movement, bending, twisting, kneeling, crouching, stooping, or crawlingWork outdoors in varying weather conditions.Work EnvironmentThis position requires working in a variety of environmental conditions, including:Exposure to extremely bright or inadequate lighting.Working in temperatures above 90°F or below 32°F.Exposure to loud, distracting, or uncomfortable noise levels.Exposure to contaminants, hazardous materials, and potentially hazardous equipment.Working at heights and in other potentially dangerous conditions.Exposure to minor injuries such as burns, cuts, bites, or stings.Performing work where errors may have significant consequences.Strict adherence to all safety policies, procedures, and regulations is required.The statements above are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by individuals assigned to this position.
