Raytheon Missiles & Defense (RMD) Manufacturing Engineering provides premier engineering and manufacturing support expertise to enable on-time, lowest cost hardware delivery with performance and reliability that exceed customer expectations. Our work involves electronic hardware for radar, missile, and combat systems. An opportunity exists for a mechanical/manufacturing engineer to join the Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) team responsible for production of RF Microelectronic assemblies. This is a 2nd shift position which includes an 8% added pay differential Provide microelectronic hardware operations engineering support to the SAW Microelectronics Assembly Area, with a focus on process improvement, cycle time reduction, defect prevention and the introduction of new hybrid electronic modules to production. Individual will be required to participate in process improvement initiatives, establishment of process base line metrics, and SPC implementation and process data analysis. What You Will Do Translating engineering design requirements into formal manufacturing process documentation Programming for manufacturing automation Dispositioning of discrepant hardware Leading corrective action investigations to prevent recurrence Participate in process improvement initiatives Manufacturing process development and maintenance Conducting safety / ergonomic assessments Qualifications You Must Have Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and a minimum 0-2 years of prior relevant experience. The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
