Director of Quality

Role Description The Director of Quality is a full-time, on-site role based in the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex, responsible for overseeing all aspects of the quality function within DryBev’s manufacturing operations. This role leads the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of quality systems, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory, customer, and internal standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing quality assurance and quality control teams, reviewing and approving specifications, overseeing batch record and documentation practices, and monitoring in-process and finished product testing. The Director of Quality collaborates closely with production, R&D, and supply chain to resolve quality issues, drive root cause analysis and corrective actions, and support new product introductions. In addition, this role manages supplier quality programs, prepares for and leads internal and external audits, and develops metrics and reporting to track performance and promote a culture of quality throughout the organization. Qualifications Demonstrated expertise in Quality Management and Quality Assurance, including designing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive quality systems. Hands‑on experience in Quality Control and Quality Auditing, with the ability to interpret test results, oversee inspections, and lead internal and external audit activities. Strong background in Supplier Quality, including qualifying and monitoring suppliers, managing quality agreements, and resolving supplier‑related nonconformances. Experience in nutritional supplements, food, beverage, or pharmaceutical manufacturing, with solid knowledge of relevant regulatory and industry standards (e.g., cGMP, FDA, NSF, SQF or similar). Proven leadership skills, including building and mentoring quality teams, influencing cross‑functional stakeholders, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities, with proficiency in root cause analysis and corrective and preventive action (CAPA) methodologies. Strong communication and documentation skills, with the ability to create clear procedures, reports, and training materials for diverse audiences. Bachelor’s degree in a scientific, engineering, or related field; advanced degree or relevant professional certifications in quality (e.g., ASQ) are a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
