Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for a mixed Med/Surg patient population on a 30-bed unit
- Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions; administer medications and treatments per orders
- Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and other members of the health care team to coordinate care plans
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record; ensure patient safety and comfort
- Respond to changes in patient status; implement appropriate interventions and escalate as needed
- Adhere to infection control practices and safe patient handling guidelines

Requirements
- Active RN license (in good standing)
- BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience in a level 1 trauma or mid-large hospital setting
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts on a 30-bed Med/Surg unit with a patient ratio of approximately 5–6:1
- Availability for a 14-week travel assignment starting 10/04/2026; guaranteed 36 hours per week
