Overview
Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg is available for a travel assignment in Atlanta, GA. Start date is 09/20/2026 for a 16-week engagement in a hospital setting. Weekly pay ranges from $1,630 to $1,734 per week, with guaranteed 36 hours per week. The shift consists of 12-hour daytime shifts, three days per week (12x3), on a Med/Surg unit.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and monitoring for a mixed Med/Surg patient population on a 30-bed unit
- Administer medications, perform treatments, and document care per policy
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient status; monitor vital signs and clinical changes
- Collaborate with physicians, ANPs/PAs, and other members of the care team to coordinate interventions
- Facilitate safe patient transfers, discharge planning, and patient education
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and infection control practices

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Georgia (or eligibility to practice in GA)
- Certification: BLS required; ACLS preferred
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience; Level 1 trauma or mid-to-large hospital experience preferred
- Shift/setting: Ability to work 12-hour daytime shifts in a hospital Med/Surg environment
- Ability to perform in a high-activity unit with a patient-to-nurse ratio around 5–6:1
