Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for adults and older adults on a Med/Surg unit, including trauma patients and those with acute medical needs
- Administer medications and monitor responses, including monitoring and managing IV therapies and heparin drips as ordered
- Perform ongoing patient assessments, document findings, and communicate changes to the interdisciplinary care team
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the designated electronic medical record system
- Monitor for patient safety, implement care plans, and respond to clinical changes per unit protocol
- Collaborate with physicians, RN peers, and other health professionals to coordinate optimal patient care

Requirements
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Documented med/surg and telemetry (med/tele) experience
- Ability to work a night shift on a 2x3 schedule
- Comfortable caring for adult and older adult populations in a hospital setting
- Eligible to work in the United States and hold appropriate licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse
