Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Principal IAM-IGA Developer with strong hands-on experience in SailPoint Identity Security Cloud to serve as the technical owner for access certification and review programs.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Identity Governance & Administration (IGA), IAM, access certifications, identity correlation, aggregation, entitlement management, and RBAC . This individual will be responsible for translating governance policies, regulatory requirements, and security-control objectives into scalable and effective certification solutions.

The role will work closely with business teams, application teams, security stakeholders, audit/compliance teams, and technical teams to ensure certification programs are accurate, auditable, scalable, and aligned with governance requirements.

Required

4+ years of experience in Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) or IAM .
Bachelor's degree or equivalent university degree.
Strong hands-on experience with SailPoint Identity Security Cloud .
Deep experience with access certifications and access reviews .
Strong experience with user, entitlement, role, and application certifications.
Strong knowledge of identity correlation and aggregation .
Experience with entitlement modeling and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) .
Experience with SailPoint integrations using connector-based, API-based, file-based, database-based, and directory-based approaches.
Experience defining attributes, aggregation rules, mappings, and correlation logic.
Familiarity with REST APIs and/or PowerShell for scripting and automation.
Working knowledge of SQL and relational data structures for reconciliation, reporting, and troubleshooting.
Experience identifying and resolving data-quality issues that impact certification accuracy.
Experience configuring reviewer assignment logic, delegation models, escalation paths, reminders, and completion SLAs.
Experience with automated remediation and access-revocation workflows.
Strong understanding of IAM governance, security controls, auditability, and compliance requirements.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain certification design, risk, and evidence to audit, compliance, business, and technical stakeholders.

Qualification

Experience supporting identity lifecycle management and deprovisioning workflows .
Experience designing certification programs in large, complex, or regulated environments.
Strong technical leadership and stakeholder-influence skills.
Experience establishing and maintaining IAM governance processes, documentation, and runbooks.
Knowledge of information-security policies, standards, and governance controls.
Experience recommending governance and security enhancements based on risk, audit findings, and platform capabilities.
Ability to evaluate SailPoint features and industry best practices to improve certification effectiveness.

Candidate Experience

Candidate should have strong, hands-on SailPoint Identity Security Cloud experience with a primary focus on access certifications and reviews.
Strong preference for candidates with deep experience designing and configuring enterprise-level certification programs.
Candidates with experience in large, complex, or regulated environments are strongly preferred.
Candidate should be comfortable working across technical, business, security, audit, and compliance teams.
Strong technical troubleshooting skills with SQL, identity data, aggregation, correlation, and SailPoint integrations are preferred.
Candidates who can work in a hybrid capacity in Mounds View, MN are preferred; remote work may be considered for the right fit.
