Job Title: Technical Business System Analyst

Location: Newark, NJ (ONSITE)

Contract

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Technical Business Systems Analyst with strong Financial Services/Capital Markets expertise to support data-driven initiatives and BAU data provisioning. The role involves requirement gathering, data analysis, production support, issue resolution, and collaboration with business and technology teams to deliver high-quality data products in an Agile environment.

• SQL, Data Analysis, Data Mapping
• Financial Modeling (Excel, Python)
• Power BI, Tableau, Bloomberg, FactSet
• Requirements Gathering & Process Mapping
• Agile/Scrum Methodologies
• Data Quality, Reconciliation & Governance
• Production Support & Root Cause Analysis
• System Integration & Data Flow Analysis

Experience Required :
• 5+ years as a Technical Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or Data Analyst within Financial Services.
• Strong SQL skills for complex query writing, data validation, and issue investigation.
• Experience supporting investment, trading, risk, operations, or regulatory reporting platforms.
• Ability to translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across Front Office, Risk, Operations, and Technology teams.

Preferred:
• CFA (completed or pursuing)
• Exposure to automation, process optimization, and data governance initiatives.
• Experience working with global delivery teams.
