Accounts Payable Supervisor

Accounts Payable Supervisor We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor to join our team in our Hewlett, NY office. This role will oversee day-to-day accounts payable activity, support the AP team, manage vendor follow-up, help maintain organized invoice and payment records, and ensure AP processes are completed accurately and on time. The ideal candidate has strong accounts payable experience, is highly organized, comfortable managing details, and able to work well with vendors, internal departments, and accounting leadership. Responsibilities include: Overseeing invoice entry, approvals, and AP workflow Reviewing vendor statements and following up on open balances Assisting with payment preparation and check runs Helping supervise and support AP staff Maintaining accurate AP records and documentation Resolving invoice discrepancies and vendor issues Supporting month-end AP organization and reporting Qualifications: Prior accounts payable experience required AP supervisory or senior AP experience preferred Strong organizational and follow-up skills Comfortable with Excel and accounting systems Ability to work in a fast-paced office environment Healthcare, nursing home, or multi-location experience is a plus Schedule: Full-time, in person.
