Job Summary:
The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position is based in Loma Linda, California. This role involves providing pre/post procedural care nursing within a fast-paced environment, demonstrating advanced competency in perianesthesia nursing for stable, unstable, and fragile patients. The nurse will utilize independent judgment to prioritize and deliver patient-centered care, working collaboratively with a team to optimize patient outcomes while maintaining high standards of professionalism and safety.

Job Details:

• Position: RN - ICU at a healthcare facility in Loma Linda, CA.
• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications, 1 year of clinical experience in an ICU or perianesthesia setting, and ability to work in the specified location.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with pre/post procedural care and critical care nursing, strong interpersonal skills, and familiarity with professional practice models.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The RN will perform independent assessments, care planning, interventions, and evaluations aligned with institutional standards and nursing excellence criteria. Responsibilities include supervising team members, applying clinical knowledge, and contributing to professional governance and quality improvement initiatives. The role emphasizes cultural competence, professionalism, and continuous clinical development.
