Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to determine clients' mental health needs, challenges, and treatment goals.
• Provide individual therapy sessions via telehealth platforms, addressing a range of concerns including anxiety, depression, PTSD, and life transitions.
• Collaboratively create and implement individualized treatment plans that integrate evidence-based therapeutic interventions and measurable outcomes.
• Offer immediate crisis intervention and support to clients experiencing acute mental health crises, ensuring their safety and emotional stability.
• Educate clients and families regarding mental health conditions, effective coping mechanisms, and available community resources for additional support.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, including session notes, treatment plans, and progress documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
• Adhere to state regulations and ethical guidelines governing counseling practices, ensuring client confidentiality and informed consent are upheld at all times.
• Demonstrate cultural competency by delivering services that are respectful of diverse backgrounds and inclusive of varying perspectives.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide holistic care and promote positive client outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position involves working with a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, adults, and families who may be navigating various mental health challenges. The ideal candidate will be adept at engaging with individuals from different cultural backgrounds, understanding that each person's experience is unique and requires a tailored approach to care.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution is required.
• State licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or equivalent is mandatory.
• A minimum of three years of relevant clinical experience in outpatient therapy services is essential.
• Proven expertise in providing mental health counseling, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building rapport with clients.
• Empathy and a strong commitment to promoting client welfare are essential; ethical and professional conduct must be a top priority.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a telehealth setting is a plus, as familiarity with virtual platforms will enhance service delivery.
• Additional certifications in trauma-informed care, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), or mindfulness-based approaches would be beneficial.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team and effectively manage a diverse caseload.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
