Pre-Suit Attorney

Ascendo Resources is partnering with a high-volume, plaintiff-side personal injury law firm that is seeking a motivated Pre-Litigation Attorney to join its growing Cincinnati,OH office. This is an excellent opportunity for a personal injury attorney who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys leading a team, and is eager to grow into a trial practice. Responsibilities Manage all aspects of pre-litigation case handling from intake through resolution Lead and mentor a team of 6–10 Case Managers, driving performance Guide clients through every stage of the pre-suit process with clear, compassionate communication Draft and file pre-litigation documents and demand packages Oversee settlement negotiations and manage the release approval process Evaluate cases for litigation readiness, including liability and TD approvals Conduct EUOs, PIP statements, and recorded statements Ensure team compliance with firm processes and quality standards Requirements J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school Active membership in good standing with the Ohio State Bar 2+ years of personal injury experience (premises liability a strong plus) Proven ability to manage a high-volume pre-litigation caseload Strong leadership presence with experience managing or mentoring staff Excellent written and oral communication skills Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and eager to advance toward trial work A client-first mindset with a commitment to delivering results Compensation & Benefits This firm invests in its people.
