In this role, you will learn and become proficient with the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems in residential settings. Your tasks will include learning to handle tools, assist with troubleshooting issues, and follow safety and code compliance procedures. You will receive training on various plumbing techniques and gain valuable knowledge to advance your career in plumbing. Strong willingness to learn, reliability, and a positive attitude are essential for success in this role.In this role, you will be responsible for:Locating and identifying leaksRepairing or replacing pipes and componentsDetermining the appropriate tools and equipment for each jobAssisting in preparing cost estimates for clientsSupporting the plumber to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local plumbing codesCleaning the job site after work is completedAddressing client queriesFollowing the plumber's orders and instructionsAdditional duties as assigned.Required Qualifications:Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.Licensing: Ability to obtain any required apprentice plumbing licenses or permits based on local or state regulations.Physical Ability: Capable of performing physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy materials, working in confined spaces, climbing ladders, and standing for extended periods.
