Cameron Ashley - Fort Pierce, 3800 Cross Rd Pkwy, Fort Pierce, Florida, United States of America Job Description Position Summary: This position involves coordinating warehouse employees, administering shipping and receiving policies, and overseeing inventory. The Operations Manager supports purchasing and sales by organizing stock efficiently and ensuring accurate and timely order picking. Essential Functions Supervise a crew of 6-10 warehouse employees Develop and motivate warehouse personnel Encourage teamwork to meet productivity targets Conduct daily safety walk‑throughs to maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse Enforce company policies and initiate disciplinary action as needed Hold monthly safety meetings and quarterly driver safety meetings Maintain inventory accuracy through daily cycle counts Identify causes of product loss and take corrective action Implement and maintain bin location system for storage and picking Assist employees in loading and unloading trucks, including staging trucks at night Control costs through personnel productivity, efficient storage, and proper material protection Use dock, layout, and truck loading patterns to minimize loading time Maintain scheduled maintenance of vehicles, machinery, and equipment in compliance with OSHA and Federal DOT Manage PeopleNet computer system to monitor driver hours and compliance with Federal DOT regulations Strategically plan material transportation, organize delivery routes, and monitor shipping for accuracy and timeliness Perform other related responsibilities as assigned Technology Electronic Email Software Office Suite Technology CRM Bar code scanner TMS Tools Clamp Truck CDL Class A Truck Hand Truck Pallet Jack Skills Speaking – Talking to others to convey information effectively. Requirements: Experience and Education Prefer 2 years prior experience in a supervisory position Minimum of 3 years of forklift experience Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record Ability to pass a drug test and background verifications Must be at least 18 years of age Authorized to work for any employer in the US without sponsorship for any length of time Physical Demands Regularly required to sit, use hands, reach, talk, and hear; requires close, color, peripheral, depth vision, and ability to adjust focus. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, as needed. Extent Flexibility – Ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with body, arms, and/or legs. Near Vision – Ability to see details at close range. Static Strength – Ability to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects. Arm-Hand Steadiness – Ability to keep hand and arm steady while moving or holding.
