Sanitation Team Member
Tropical Cheese Industries
Job Responsibilities Inspects products and equipment for conformity to federal and state sanitation laws and Tropical Cheese plant standards. Follow all safety and confined space regulations. Checks all chemical, foot sanitizers, hand wash stations, CIP1, CIP2 and foaming units. Set up cheese vats, de‑whey belt and lines to be washed. Hand wash cheese presses, cheese table and cheese cutters. Sprays machines, tanks, foaming units, and conveyors with water to loosen and remove dirt or other foreign matter. Scrubs machines, tanks, tables, pans, bowls, compartments, and conveyors. Rinses articles with water, and dries them with compressed air. Scrubs floors and walls. Connects hoses and lines to pump and starts pump to circulate cleaning and sterilizing solution through hoses and lines. Scrubs interior of disconnected pipes, valves, and spigots, and gauges, and meters.
