Description

• Provide educational resources to patients and their families to support therapy progress beyond the clinical settings.
• Facilitate occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions, ensuring a seamless continuum of care throughout therapy sessions.
• Keep meticulous and timely records following state, federal, and institutional guidelines.
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in the field through ongoing education and colleague interactions.

Education

• A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is not yet obtained.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within the first 30 days of employment.
