Senior Program Manager

Job Description Key Responsibilities Lead and motivate a cross‑functional team to drive a high‑visibility remediation effort in the AAD platform within the Business Group of MDS. Apply project management principles, including customer scope requirements, work breakdown structures, risk management, integrated business plans, and product requirements. Deliver projects on‑time through predictable and transparent execution. Serve as an agile problem solver, master negotiator, motivational coach, product development process expert, prudent risk taker, and team champion. Influence solutions and resolve business and/or technical problems at all levels of the organization. Act as a strong, influential communicator implementing the strategic and technical direction for the project/program team. Find and create new avenues of excellence, starting independently without prompting. Demonstrate a working knowledge of business, market growth drivers and trends, and influence business case development. Lead cross‑functional teams through medium‑scale projects of moderate complexity individually or with an additional project leader. Understand all functional work streams in a phase‑gate process and envision an integrated project plan. Position Requirements BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science & Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a closely related engineering degree. At least 10 years of relevant experience in product development and design, with 3–5 years in medical device product development (Class II). Minimum 5 years of project management experience. Experience driving remediation and/or sustaining engineering projects. Position Preferences Advanced degree in an engineering discipline or MBA. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. Familiarity with advanced access devices. Critical Skills and Competencies Successful track record of commercializing new products and/or remediating critical products in the market. Experience in product development planning across multiple work streams, identifying risk, and implementing action plans to optimize timelines and reduce execution risk. Familiarity with medical device regulations and FDA submissions. Primary work location: USA UT - Salt Lake City; Additional locations: USA UT - Sandy.
