The Manufacturing Building Janitor is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized manufacturing facility, offices, restrooms, break rooms, and common areas. This position supports a safe work environment by ensuring all areas meet company cleanliness and sanitation standards while following safety procedures.

Schedule: Monday - Saturday 6:00AM - 2:30PM

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, locker rooms, break rooms, offices, and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and scrub floors throughout the facility.
• Empty trash and recycling containers and dispose of waste properly.
• Clean windows, doors, walls, and other surfaces as needed.
• Restock restroom and break room supplies, including soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
• Operate janitorial equipment such as floor scrubbers, buffers, vacuums, and pressure washers.
• Clean production areas while following safety guidelines and avoiding interference with manufacturing operations.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damaged equipment to management.
• Maintain janitorial closets, equipment, and cleaning supplies in an organized manner.
• Follow OSHA safety standards and company policies regarding chemical handling and PPE.
• Assist with special cleaning projects and facility setup as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Previous janitorial, housekeeping, or industrial cleaning experience preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is a plus.
• Ability to safely use cleaning chemicals, equipment, and hand tools.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching throughout the shift.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.
