Staff Accountant

We are currently seeking a Staff Accountant to join our accounting and finance team, reporting to the Controller. This will be a key role in our accounting function. Key Responsibilities: Perform day-to-day accounting activities, including bank reconciliations. Prepare journal entries with appropriate supporting documentation. Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities. Assist the month-end close process, including balance sheet and P&L reconciliations. Ensure deadlines are met for financial reporting and management review. Support external auditors by providing requested documentation. Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and GAAP standards Qualifications & Skills: Preferred undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance, with 2-3 years of relevant accounting experience. Advanced Excel skills (ability to create pivot tables, VLOOKUP functions) Experience with ERP system like Sage Intacct preferred. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication (verbal and written), organizational skills, and ability to multi-task. Ability to work independently on deliverables to achieve accurate results. Ability to prioritize conflicting demands and maintain excellent communication regarding deliverables.
