Registered Nurse - PreOp

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Pre-Op/PACU RN to provide quality perioperative patient care. The role involves preparing patients for surgery and ensuring their safe recovery from anesthesia in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' health status and prepare them for surgical procedures.
• Monitor vital signs and manage patient stability during preoperative and post-anesthesia phases.
• Administer medications and interventions as prescribed, ensuring compliance with protocols.
• Collaborate with surgical teams and ancillary staff to coordinate care plans.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in electronic medical records.
• Maintain current certifications and stay updated on perioperative best practices.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid California RN license.
• Possess BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Demonstrate recent TB clearance within the past 12 months.
• Have previous experience working in perioperative or PACU settings.
• Exhibit strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including shared call shifts.
