Preschool Teacher

Are you passionate about early childhood education and helping young minds grow? We are looking for a warm, creative, and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children ages 3–5.

Position Overview

As a Preschool Teacher, you will create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment where children can develop socially, emotionally, physically, and academically. You will design and implement engaging lesson plans that support early learning standards while encouraging curiosity and creativity. Our preschool program will be part-time and only run 2-3 days in the morning. We are in a gym so education, play, and instruction should extend into that space for about 45-60 min/day. We can assist with curriculum development. Since we are a part-time preschool program, the minimum hours for this role will be 10 hours/week. If you would like more hours, there is potential to run other preschool focused classes/events and to work 20-30 hours/week.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum and lesson plans
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Monitor and document children's developmental progress
• Maintain open and professional communication with parents and guardians
• Ensure classroom safety and compliance with licensing regulations
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (preferred)
• College students enrolled in early childhood education programs are encouraged to apply!
• CPR & First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Minimum 1 year of experience working with young children
• Strong communication, patience, and classroom management skills
