Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results. Includes analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements, and translation into proper system requirement specifications. Guides and advises less-experienced Business Systems Analysts. Competent to work at the highest technical level of most phases of systems analysis while considering the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment. Key ResponsibilitiesPartner with business stakeholders to identify, analyze, and prioritize complex business process, data, reporting, and technology needs. Translate business objectives into effective technology-enabled solutions that improve operational efficiency, decision-making, and business outcomes.Lead requirements gathering, solution design, implementation planning, and production support for business applications, analytics, reporting, automation, and data management solutions. Research, evaluate, and recommend solutions that align with business needs, corporate standards, and long-term support considerations.Assess business processes, operational needs, and technology capabilities to identify opportunities for improvement. Develop recommendations that support process optimization, data quality, reporting effectiveness, governance objectives, and organizational goals.Partner with business subject matter experts and innovation teams to implement, support, and continuously improve technology solutions while ensuring alignment with corporate architecture, security, compliance, and operational standards.Provide input on best practices, standards, and procedures related to business applications, data management, reporting, analytics, automation, artificial intelligence, and emerging technologies.
