Location Residence Inn Cleveland Independence, OH Overview Use your attention to detail and desire for routine to create memorable guest experiences! As a Night Auditor, you will work overnight (graveyard) hours to supervise the hotel and perform tasks to certify that all daily transactions are reconciled. Your contributions as a Night Auditor are essential to provide our guests a comfortable stay. Get paid daily Responsibilities Review daily transactions and checklists for completion and accuracy. Ensure all guests are served promptly and courteously. Apply problem solving skills to resolve guest issues to their satisfaction. Follow proper cash handling procedures and be able to post and reconcile charges applied to guest receipts. Ensure emergency notification procedures are followed in the event of issues taking place overnight. Communicate effectively between all shifts and departments. Qualifications Previous customer service experience with proven ability to thrive working the overnight shift is ideal. To be successful in this role, you need strong verbal and written communication skills. You must be able to read, write, type and use basic technology. This job requires you to stand for an entire shift and you also must be able to lift at least 25 pounds. Applicants must be available to work weekends and holidays. For Employees Based in Colorado: 8 paid holidays per year; employees working in the City of Denver receive 64 hours of designated holiday time per calendar year Up to 20 days of paid vacation per year, based on classification and length of service 6 days or 48 hours of Paid Sick Leave per year, accrued at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked. For Employees Based in California: 8 paid holidays per year Up to 20 days of paid vacation per year, based on classification and length of service, capped at 1.5x annual accrual rate; non-supervisory employees working in the City of Los Angeles accrue up to 22 days of Compensated Time Off, based on length of service capped at 192 hours of combined PST and CTO. Paid Sick Time accrues at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked, unused time is carried over from one anniversary year to the next up to a maximum of 80 hours; employees working in the City of Los Angeles are provided 40 hours of Paid Sick Time annually on their anniversary, unused time is not carried over from one anniversary year to the next.
