Hospitalist-Nocturnist

Responsibilities Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato, Minnesota is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Hospital Medicine nocturnist to join an established department. This physician will provide comprehensive cross‑coverage admissions to all patients referred to the service. The practice is busy with physician‑led and financially stable organization, committed to high‑quality patient care and satisfaction. Work 161 shifts per year: seven 12‑hour shifts followed by seven days off Cover Medical/Surgical and Progressive Care units 7 a.m. – 7 p.m.; 1 non‑rounding Medical Officer of the Day 7 a.m. – 7 p.m.; 2 swing shift APP admitters 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. & 11 a.m. – 11 p.m.; 2 physicians and 1 APP cover 7 p.m. – 7 a.m. Multispecialty clinic attached Comprehensive benefits package and competitive salary guarantee Common EMR/PACS across all Mayo Clinic Health System sites Schedule Full time; 12‑hour shifts with 7 days off after each block of shifts. 80 hours per pay period. Compensation Minimum starting salary ranges from $217,500 to $533,750. Salary depends on specialty, experience, and duties. Benefits Comprehensive benefits package available; benefits eligible.
